Naruto 453: Konohagakure at the Center of Attention....

(Team 7 learns of Sasuke's erratic behavior.)

"You can't seriously believe this, right Naruto? Sasuke would never join such a shady organization," said Sakura. "Who cares what you think! He was caught red handed in an Akatuski cloak carrying away our master," yelled Omoi.

"How you can even stand up for a missing nin who left the village and joined an s-class criminal organization is nothing short of insanity," said Karui. "And Akatuski did this to your village, how could you fools be so stupid enough to over look this. The mighty Konoha has definitely fallen," said Omoi.

"Wait just one second! I won't let you talk down to Sasuke and our village like that," yelled Sakura. (She balls up her fists.) "Looks like she wants some more. Fine, after we are done with her, I'll gladly have me some Uchiha on my plate," said Omoi.

(Karui flips her blade) "This time I'll cut her," said Karui. (Naruto stops Sakura. Sai is shocked.)

"Naruto, what are you doing? Let me go, this is Sasuke we're talking about," said Sakura. "Tell me something Cloud ninja. Was there something special about your master," said Naruto.

"Special as in his amazing strength," said Omoi. "Was he, a jinchuurikii," said Naruto. "Nnn, Naruto," mumbled Sakura. "TELL ME, was your master a Jinchuurikii," yelled Naruto.

"Yes. He was the eight tailed beast," said Karui. "Master spent most of his young life protecting the village. At first everyone was scared of him. But after risking his life time and time again, the people began to except him as part of the village. (Naruto reflects on himself) Raikage, his older brother, placed him, our Master in those situations in order for the villagers to respect him," said Omoi.

(Flash Back of the Eight Tails Released facing off against hordes of shinobi.)

"He was so strong. He was an experienced swordsmen type shinobi. We looked up to him. We wanted to be strong just like him and protect the village. We begged and begged, and finally with the kindness of his heart, he took us under his wing. We finally grew strong enough to join Samui who, like our Master, is a top Jounin in our village and reports directly to Raikage. Then we eventually formed our platoon. We were just like our Master, in the sense that we were the Hokage's most trusted. Still, its unreal that he's been captured," said Karui.


"We called him Killer Bee and he was everything to us. He took us good for nothing kids and changed us into top shinobi. That's why, I'll never forgive that Uchiha bastard," said Omoi.

"I understand," said Naruto. "What, how could you possibly understand. Killer Bee had it hard his entire life. And all of a sudden, Akatuski takes him away, for what, because he has special power to exploit," yelled Omoi. "You Konoha ninja make me sick," said Karui.

"Your master and I, are similar," said Naruto. "What are you getting at," asked Omoi. "I am also a jinchuurikii. I am the 9 tailed host and I recently defended the village from Akatuski, because they wanted me," said Naruto.

"So you are like him, a host," said Karui. "My apologies. Your life must have been difficult as well. You said you saved the village. Perhaps you are Killer Bee's ongoing will. In that case, we'll sit here and get to understand the situation," said Omoi.

(Karui and Omoi jump over to Team 7's location.)

"Naruto, you don't think Sasuke really did this," asked Sakura. (Flash back of Itachi's words)

"Sasuke is still pure, but he can be easily painted," said Itachi.

(Back to present)

"Someone told me that Sasuke might have changed," said Naruto. "But who," asked Sakura. "It doesn't matter, but that's not all. That man with the mask. The Akatuski member that went after Sasuke. I know something about him," said Naruto.

(Flash back of Minato talking about the masked man manipulating Pain.)

"Is it really ok to be listening to this," said Karui. "It'll bring us to a better solution," said Omoi.

(Sakura is confused and is about to ask Naruto to elaborate, but he speaks on.)

"You two. Leave Sasuke to me. I'm sure I can end it," said Naruto. "Hay listen, this was the guy that defeated our master, surely you can't handle him alone," said Omoi.

(Flash back of Itachi.)

"I gave you some of my power. I hope the day comes when you never have to use it," said Itachi.

(Back to the present.)

"No. Its something I have to do. So I insist, don't pursue Sasuke. I'll go after him," said Naruto. "Well, based on the reports, he had three allies with him. Its likely he used them to help him defeat our master," said Karui. "We'll at least make them pay for their treachery," smiled Omoi. "Thank you," said Naruto.

Switch Scene to Danzou's hut:

"So, the Hokage summit will take place in Konoha," said Danzou. "Yeah, I'm assuming due to geographical location, Konoha is the most viable spot. The Fire country is between the great shinobi countries, and since Konoha is a prestigious nation, its the best location for the summit," said Anbu 1.

"Heh. I wonder what they'll think once they see that we're in shambles," said Anbu 2.

Switch Scene to Sand Village:

"What is it Temari," asked Gaara. "Its an urgent summit of the Five Great Kages," said Temari. "Hmm. I wonder what's going on. Konoha seems to be the location. I'll wonder if I'll see him there," said Gaara.

Switch Scene to Tsuchigakure:

(He's cloaked up)

"Summit of the Kages. Konoha... Its been years since the 3rd shinobi war. I wonder if there is still some tension," said Tsuchikage.

Switch Scene: Raikage Dashes to Konoha

"Raikage sir, please slow down," said Adviser. "The day has a arise to put an end to Akatuski," said Raikage.

Switch Scene To Mizugakure:

(Madara dresses himself up)

"It seems Konoha is going to be pretty hot. I'll lay low for a while and let Sasuke stir things up," said Madara.

"Naruto stands stunned by Kiba's announcement"
Sakura: - What? But Tsunade is the Hokage!...
Kakashi: - This is bad news, I suspect it won't end here.
Naruto: He can't do that! They can't replace Tsunade like that!
Kakashi: I'm afraid they can, if they see it necessary. Danzo must have planned this.

"Kakashi watches Naruto, who turns his head down in thought"

Naruto: - I...
Naruto thinks to himself: Just when I have the means to bring him back.. Just when I finally understand..

"Naruto looks up at Kakashi. Kakashi looks back"

Naruto in a calm voice: - I won't allow it.
Kakashi: - You are in no state to tackle the village Naruto. Danzo is a hard opponent, you can't face him in battle like your previous foes. He has been planning this for a long time.
Sakura: - ......

"Naruto thinks for a moment, flashbacks on his speech with pain, his promises."
"Naruto looks up again and smiles, although you see he is tired."

Naruto: - I know of Danzo. I know he have been wanting to be Hokage for a long time. I know he have done bad things to get the seat to. The decision to name Sasuke a missing nin is another bad choice of his. I won't allow it. There is to much at stake, to much to repay for him to ruin it all now. I will talk to him.

"Kakashi looks at Naruto, "what did Naruto mean by that?""

"Naruto smiles again, Sakura and Kakashi is not smiling"

Kakashi; - You won't be able to talk sense into Danzo Naruto. I know him, he is a ruthless military leader. He is most likely prepared for everything we can say, as I said he has been planning this for a long time.
Sakura: - Then what? Should we just allow him to place Sasuke as a missing Nin?
Kakashi: - No, but we must be tactful about this. If Danzo was named the Hokage we must play by the rules to try to stop him. We must put our hope in the village, and in Tsunade's powers.

"Naruto thinks back to what Danzo did to Pain"

Naruto wispers: - He must not be allowed to be Hokage.

Switch scene to Sasuke:

"Sasuke and team falcon is jumping and moving at a medium pace towards Konoha.
They stop for the evening to put up camp"
Sasuke: - It will take us some time to get to Konoha, try to be ready. We must have our strength for the encounter.
Jugo: - Do you have a plan for getting into the village?
Sasuke: I have a plan, we will be helped.

"Team falcon looks with suprise at sasukes statement"


Switch scene to Hinata:

"Most Konoha ninjas Hinatas age is gathered around."

Shikamaru: - We have all heard the news.. I sent Kiba to inform Naruto. Things are getting out of hand.
Lee: - We can't allow this! It's not right. We all want Sasuke to come back and Naruto just saved us, he can't be happy.
Shino: - What we think is irrelevant. How we act is more important.

"Hinata watches her friends argue"

Hinata: - Let's nominate Naruto as Hokage!

"They all stop arguing and look at her"

Lee: - Do you think we could do that?
Shikamaru: - I't might be to late for that....But we can try. And whatever happens I will support Naruto in this. Call the others, we need to regroup.

"They all agree"



Switch scene to Naruto:

Naruto: - Kakashi...I have a plan. Please Sakura, could you arrange to transfer Tsunade. I fear for her life.

"Sakura looks a bit panicked"

Sakura: - Where would we go?

"Naruto smiles again to calm her down"

Naruto: Well, to mount Myouboku of-course.
Sakura: - Mount Myouboku?
Naruto: Yes, we will reverse summon you there. I hope you can help Tsunade at that location.
Sakura: - .....

"Naruto puts a hand on her shoulders"

Naruto: - You are the best Medical Ninja there is Sakura. I know you can do it.

"Sakura looks suspicious on Naruto"

Sakura: - What is your plan?

"Naruto looks straight into Sakuras eyes with a striking determination, posing a devious smile"

Naruto: - I'm going to play the fox!

"Kakashi and Sakura has a look of surprise"

What does this mean? Will Naruto go into fox-mode?

Naruto, kikashi, yamoto, shikaku, sakura, sai, and shikimaru are all sitting around a camp fire in a field with tents near by. The light shines upon their faces with ominous glow. They all look shocked as they stare at naruto.

Kakashi: "So that is the story of pain. A very interesting story indeed. When this is over you will definately have to write about this."
Shikaku: "Indeed. What you have learned in the last day may be some of the most important information we have ever gotten thus far not only on danzou but also on akatsuki."
Naruto: "But what about the vision I had of my father?"
Shikimaru: "It is possible that pain was trying to inflitrate your mind to force you to not release the seal."
Yamoto: "That is very unlikely. Only someone who understands the seal could regress it as far back as it has become. If not for that than you would surely have been killed had you broken the seal naruto. I guess you can thank your father for saving your life."

Kakashi has a flash back to the fourth hokage teaching him the rasengan in the field for the first time.

Kakashi: "All I know is your father would be very proud of you for what you have done today and Im sure dead or not he will always be with you."
Sai is reading through a book then stops and pulls out some meat from a bag.
Sai: "Anyone hungry? I hear its a common traditions for people to sit in front of a camp fire together and tell ghost stories or sing songs."
Naruto: "....."

Sakura hits Sai over the head.
Sakura: "Now is not the time to joke about ghosts during times like these."
Shikaku gets a concerned look and looks at shikimaru who nods in agreement.
Shikaku: "So what should we do about Danzou? If what you say is correct and then there is sufficient evidence to prove danzou has committed treason."
Kakashi: "Do you think we could get a private audience with the daimyo?"
Shikaku: "Unlikely. Danzou is already making efforts to tighten down any efforts to stop any dissent to his becoming hokage."

Naruto: "What if we forced our way in with a distraction. We might then be able to get into see the Daimyo."
Shikimaru: "Its possible but very unwise. Since the attack the security around konoha has become increasingly tight. Sure many of them are not in good shape since the attack but it would be unwise to make any forced effort."

A figure emerges from the shadows and heads towards the fire. Its Neji and Guy. The others are surprised when they see them appear.

Guy: "We could not help but over hear your conversation. We may have some good news to inform you about. Anbu is searching for you and requesting that you head to the council chambers tomorrow morning."
Naruto: "What for?"
Neji: "They want to hear what information you have gathered thus far on akatsuki."
Shikaku: "Than I guess we do not need to force the daimyo to listen to us. I guess the fate of the village is in your hands now Naruto. Maybe you can do what I could not and convince the daimyo not to make danzou hokage."
Naruto: "I will try my best."

Team Samui is sitting on a rock overlooking the village along with an anbu black ops ninja nearby looking on at the village.

Karui: "All this was done by one ninja?!"
Omoi: "Must have been one hell of a battle. How many people faught in this battle?"
Samui: "Actually there was several ninja that did this but its kind of complicated since there is a lot of wierd things that happened during this fight."
Omoi: "What kind of wierd things?"
Samui: "Its too long and difficult to explain. The good thing is the fight is over and now akatsuki may have lost not only their strongest fighters but also their leader."
Karui: "Does that mean we can leave now? There is nothing much to do here and I doubt there will be any cute rich guys to date."
Omoi: "Maybe if you actually spent more than just a few minutes staring at the village from a distance and showing some skin you may get lucky."
Karui gets angry and gets ready to charge at Omoi.
Samui: "Cool it you two. We will be leaving this village soon. Besides I just got a request from the Daimyo of the fire country. He has asked that we accept an assignment on our trip back home."
Omoi looks at samui with a curious eye while looking down at the village.
Omoi: "What kind of assignment?"

The council chamber is shown from the outside. Inside many of the people in the room are sitting intently looking at Naruto. Two of the council members are shocked. One of them has a concerned look while another is look at danzou. Danzou is visably shaken while wearing a hokage outfit. The daimyo is looking at naruto with obvious interest.

Daimyo: "So that is how akatsuki was formed? The ambitions of children threatened by war. I had expected there would be something greater but this is interesting."

Danzou: "Are you seriously gonna take this story as being true. It is barely accurate."

One of the elders looks at danzou with a stern look.

Elder: "So this whole attack could have been avoided long ago. Is that not true danzou?"
Danzou: "I made the best decisions I could at that time. If had more resources than maybe I could have stopped akatsuki before this happened."
Daimyo: "What is in the past is in the past. There is nothing that can be done about this now except to use what information we have now. While your actions have indeed been questionable danzou. I can not fault you for trying to eliminate akatsuki even if it meant making an alliance as unwise as what you made."

Danzou smiles and Shikaku gets noticeably upset.

Shikaku: "But he was responcible for provoking the wrath of akatsuki. If not for that than akatsuki could very well have been our allies."
Elder looks sternly at Shikaku. Kakashi puts his hand on shikaku's shoulder and shakes his head.
Daimyo: "The matter of Danzou's actions in the past is done. The more important issue now is dealing with akatsuki in its present form. To that end I am reccomending that Naruto present this information at the meeting of hokages."
Danzou gets upset and looks at naruto with an angry look.
Danzou: "The words of mere genin are meaningless during a time like this. Allow me to present the evidence. Besides this boy is in mortal danger with akatsuki now more than ever attempting to capture him."

Naruto gets indignant and stands up looking at danzou in anger.

Naruto: "I can defend myself just find Danzou. Have you forgotten it was I who defeated Pain?"
Kakashi: "Easy naruto. As much as I hate to say it but I have to agree with Danzou this time. Naruto is not safe alone. If I may I would like to volunteer as his bodyguard and protector."

One of the elders whispers something into the Daimyo's ear and he raises an eyebrow.

Daimyo: "That will be unnecessary kakashi. Apparently the cloud village has already sent a group to inform us concerning the meeting of hokages. It is therefore my decision that you naruto shall accompany this group back to the cloud village where you will attend the meeting of hokages."

A knock sounds at the door and a masked anbu black ops ninja goes over and opens the door.
Daimyo: "With that out of the way. Naruto let me now introduce you to your new bodyguards enroute to the cloud village and your future bodyguards, Team Samui."
Team Samui looks stands in the door way. They are smiling and looking at everyone in the room. Samui looks at naruto with a serious expression.
Samui: "Pack your things and say your good byes naruto. We leave at sunset tonight."

Another cool chapter!!! It seems like Naruto's dream is finally coming true..All the villagers were waiting for naruto to welcome him back to konoha..And everyone was happy to see him, He no longer is regarded as the demon of the village, he is a hero of the village now, the boy who was treated as monster yesterday is today praised by everyone, this part of this chapter was really great..This welcome kinda reminds me of the time when Gaara as kazekage was returned back to sunagakure..

Hitting Naruto on the head, yup Sakura is very happy that naruto returned back safe. And Iruka is very proud of him too, After all naruto is like a son to him..

Zetsu was watching all this and he's giving all the info about the things that happened here in konoha to Akatsuki , he also tells that konan is not coming back to akatsuki..That dude is really fast, i mean he was there in konoha a while ago and he is with other akatsuki members after some time..Anyway, Kisame is now assigned with a job to capture 8 tails..And i wonder what is madara's "another matter to attend to" ...

Back at konoha, The cloud ninjas have finally reached konoha with the message from Rikage but at the time of crisis. Tsunade is lying unconscious using almost all her chakra using katsuyu to protect the village. I hope she's not dead, there were some rumors about her death over the internet. And at the council, the position for the Next hokage was discussed and its been decided that Danzou become the sixth Hokage!!! This was really shocking part of this chapter, I can't believe that He became Hokage!!! What's gonna happen Next???
